A Tutor That Cares started in 2009 with Shaia Belt's love and passion for knowledge, and the intention to change the way learners think they can learn, relying on support from different resources and their tools for success. She serviced families across Washington D.C., and Prince George County, Maryland. She also worked with scholars from ages 3 up to college students who were adults and even spanish-speaking families.

Get to Know Shaia
Shaia began her teaching career in 2011 as a Pre-K through 8th grade instructor. After receiving a Master's Degree in Education with a focus in Instructional Technology, the tutoring service was renamed to " A Tutor That Cares Virtual Online School." In 2017, she began to integrate technology into everything she did. In 2022, she minted the first curriculum guide as an NFT to teach others the technology of NFTs and how to create their own. Since then, she has been working diligently to onboard the youth onto Web3 and its sectors such as The Metaverse, Decentralized Finance, Cryptocurrency, Non-Fungible Tokens(NFT), and much more through STEM and after-school programs.
